What age range is acceptable for me to date?

I am 27 and considering dating an older lady. I prefer to not be shunned by society as a result of my love. What is the maximum age you feel is acceptable for me.

January-December romances are becoming more and more frequent in our culture, so I don't think that you will be shunned by anyone other than close-minded folks. If you truly love her, let your heart lead the way.

Good rule of thumb: 1/2 your age + 7.

No, he's talking about dating someone older than him, not younger.

Well, the rule of thumb would work in reverse too. If he is within 1/2 age + 7 he will likely be okay.
