Have you ever went on a blind date, and found out after the date you were dating the wrong person?

I mean, you meet someone in a coffee shop and sit down to date them, saying, "Are you (name of person)" and they say yes, and they sit down to date with you. You find out after the date that they are the wrong person. Has this ever happened to you, and what did you do or would you do if it happened?

Sounds like a pretty obscure scenario, there, easyeboy. But if it happened to me, and I was digging the girl, hopefully I got her number before the big realization, 'cuz once I found out I'd like to think I'd want to find the real blind date so she wouldn't feel stood up...

How are you at scriptwriting? Sounds like a cool movie plotline to me.....

Yes, this is funny to think about. However, I suppose if you liked the date, you would not mind dating this person again if it was a mistake, but would wonder about the other person you were really supposed to be dating. It's like dating the wrong Jennifer, and the right Jennifer shows up, and dates the wrong you.

This has never happened to me, but if it did, I would probably consider the guardian angel that must have been on my shoulder.  I would have to assume that Fate or that angel decided the guy I was supposed to meet was not all that he was cracked up to be!
