The Mavericks are great team towards the end of the season. However, to win it all, it's going to be a very tough task.
At the time you ask this question, first round opponent is the Lakers which are 3-0 versus Mavericks this season. Assuming they beat the Lakers on the first round, the Western Conference is a tough place to live. Other team that they potentially face on the next round: Nuggets (lead 4-0) and Rockets (lead 2-1). One hope is to have Portland as the Mavs have won it all (3-0) this season.
When Western Conference is done their trip would be one of these:
- Cavaliers (2-0)
- Boston (2-0)
- Orlando (1-1)
