What would you do if you were Ronald Cummings and your daughter went missing?

Cummings' five-year-old daughter, Haleigh Cummings, is still missing. Police believe the child was abducted, and a massive search for her is underway in and around her home in Satsuma, Florida. If this were your child, what immediate steps would you take? Hire a private investigator? Call the FBI? Tons of media interviews? I can't even begin to imagine what I would do in his position.

I can't imagine being in this situation, but I could not passively sit by knowing that my child might be alive and needing help. I would probably hire a private investigator, unless the police advised against that. This case reminds me of the Jessica Lunsford tragedy, where she was abducted and held in a nearby trailer for days before she was murdered.

By the way, his name is Ronald instead of Roland.

I personally would take things into my own hands and dedicate every last breath of life within me to find the person responsible for this, and make sure my daughter would make it safely back in my arms. When I do find the person behind this I will maker sure he pays for this crimes. There is only one way to find someone and that is to retrace your steps and look for small details which will hopefully lead you to where your daughter is.
