Marquis Cooper of the Raiders and Corey Smith Lions were the NFLers
Will Bleakley was the third still missing, he played college ball at South Florida along with the sole survivor Nick Schuyler.

"Sole survivor"??
I know that the chances of find the other 3 are dismal, but they were able to put on life jackets; so I think ruling them dead is rude and inconsiderate to their families at this point.

They've been in the water for over 72hrs, but I guess, in respect for the family I guess we can hope they are still alive, maybe they got picked up by a fishing boat or something and haven't notified the authorities?
