Do you think it is appropriate the way the public is treating Caylee Anthony's grandparents?

Protesters have been outside the Anthony house putting them through hell since little Caylee has been missing. Do you agree with this treatment, or do you feel like George and Cindy Anthony are victims as well?

I think it's incredibly sad that they were targeted because they chose to stand behind their daughter until the truth outed. No parent ever wants to believe the worst about their children, even a crime as horrid as the one their daughter is being accused of. In a time when family needs to grieve, a time when they need support and community behind them, they get treated like criminals instead. It's not just the Anthony's that this type of thing has happened, but to other families in similar situations as well. It's one of the biggest flaws in media. Twenty years ago if a child turned up missing, you'd be hard pressed to find hundreds of people on the lawn of the family throwing rocks at them and calling them murderers, but the circus effect caused by the media seems to encourage that type of behavior today. It's incredibly sad.

I think these protestors are no worse than the people who crucified Christ its the mob mentality and it should stop God bless these grandparents if it wasn't for them caylee would been dead a long time ago Casey probably would have stuffed her in a bag when she was born!

i agree. this behavior is not reasonable, but it's not unexpected either. Sure, they are victims, but they have to take some responsibility for raising their daughter. I would not want to be in their shoes.

What would we say if we knew a priori that the Anthony family is innocent? Then we would say the members of the Anthony family are victims. Since we don't have that knowledge, all we can say is that the members of the Anthony family may be victims (if you base the definition on their guilt). I think the fact that the protesters may be creating victims is enough for me to say that the protesters are wrong. I don't agree with their treatment.
