Taiwan|Taiwanese President Ma Ying-jeou accepted responsibility for the typhoon casualties, and the slow response by the government to that disaster. For an eastern leader, this is one of the toughest and bravest things to do, and means public humiliation to him.
He still refuses to quit, despite continuous criticism against his government.
