first and foremost you have to do some research and as soon as you got the attorney you should build a trust and confidence to your lawyer, and you should tell the truth to your lawyer in that way ,he knows how to depend your case and it's not only the lawyer who should do the work, being a client it is your responsibility to provide a better and a cogent information and evidence in order for him to depend you. it should be a team work. respect ,trust ,confidence is the best quality to have a between you and your good lawyer. and it is also important to know that your lawyer must have a principle in his life and honest.

A criminal defense attorney should tell their client exactly what he/she can do for them, how their case will be handled and what possible outcomes there could be. Clients shouldn’t rely on the attorney’s fee alone as an indication of defense in a legal matter or in court. Dissatisfied criminal law clients can be very unnerving to the staff that work in the front office. Lots of times, criminal law clients really are criminals (and are not just DUI clients) and they act like it. If a lawyer talks to their potential client about the case, that’s one indication that the lawyer intends to vigorously defend their client, rather than just taking their money and sitting silently in a chair in court, letting the chips fall where they may.
