I make purchases in different currencies: is there a "multi currency" credit card?
For example: suppose that I buy something in euros online, I would like to pay the balance with euros and not dollars.
I'm sick of visa automatically charging me 2.5% commission over the spot ratem and converting the balance to dollars when I have the foreign currency.

To answer your question simply.... No, However different banks charge you different rates on foreign purchases a quick google tells me that Capital one only charges 1% fee that visa charges them.

I do not see a multiple currency credit card but ask them if it is possible.

The MBNA Platinum Plus Visa and Mastercard does not charge you the additional fee that you are use to seeing, this might be your best traditional credit card option.
I was going to say, I went to Rome, and, as far as I could tell, neither my Visa check card nor my Costco American Express charged me anything but a straight exchange rate. I just thought that was the norm.
They don't blatantly advertise the fee, but when you make a large-ish purchase over the internet and you have been monitoring the spot for a few days, you realise that the exchange rate at which they executed your transaction is significantly higher. If you call them and ask, as I did, they admit that they convert at spot*1.025
You might actually be better off believe it or not just using paypal for your purchases, allot of retailers (EG: NewEgg, Buy.com, even MAHALO) all take paypal.
Allot of retailers actually ALSO give discounts of up to 20% off for people that USE paypal.
