I would like to know the following:
What items, or types of items, sell best?
How do you price your crafts -- your time shouldn't be free, but you still want your stuff to sell -- guidelines?
How do you market your crafts? Just put it out somewhere like Etsy and wait?
I know about Etsy; are there other sites like it? How do they compare? I see the prices on eBay and sometimes it hardy seems worth it...
I also would like to know about the most cost effective shipping, collecting sales tax, and reporting income from the sale of my crafts.
Do I need a business license? Is there any kind of liability involved that I need to be aware of or insured from?
Are food products (like the pretty jars with ingredients in them) subject to any sort of restrictions or regulation?
Give me a few days and I'll bet I can come up with a bunch more (I'm crafty...)

Sign up for free. To start selling on Etsy, you’ll first need to register for an Etsy account. To become a seller, you’ll need a credit card for verification purposes.
List your items. It costs 20 cents to list an item for four months. When your item sells, you’ll pay a 3.5% transaction fee. Read all about Etsy's fees for more information. Etsy makes it easy to pay your bill each month with a single click.
Or you can just sell them on ebay.com

• Thanks! You just gave me a ton of great ideas for topics to add to the page.
I do currently have a list of websites you can use to sell your handmade goods, and they each work a little differently. I will try my best to keep the page non-specific to etsy, because while etsy is huge in the handmade market, there are still a variety of other sites that we can sell on as well. (see the list I posted today)
Taxes, Licensing and such like that will vary by state, but I do plan to add those tips to the page as well.
Thanks so much for your thoughts!
