To properly fulfill your request to close your AdBrite account, please following the steps outlined below.
For advertisers:
As pursuant to our Terms and Conditions, you are responsible for all charges that have accrued and will be scheduled for billing for any traffic you have generated, but have not yet been billed. Advertisers with any outstanding charges cannot have their account closed until payment has been collected.
To pause or cancel your ads, please log into your account.
1.Select the "For advertisers" tab.
2.Click on the "Manage campaigns" link.
3.Click "Campaign Ads" tab on the right side of the page and verify "All Statuses" is selected for "Statuses".
4.Mark all check boxes next to any "Running" or "Pending Billing" ad campaign and click the "Pause" button.
5.Next, click "Flat Rate Ads" tab on the right side of the page and verify "All Statuses" is selected for "Statuses".
6.Mark all check boxes next to any "Running" or "Currently Outpriced" flat rate ad campaign and click the "Cancel recurrence" button.
7.All statuses should update to 'Paused' within five minutes.
8.Notify support via our Contact Us form so we can process your account closure request.
Note: Ads that are 'Pending Review' or 'Finished' cannot be paused. To avoid any additional charges, please notify us in your account closure request if you have any ads with these statuses.
For publishers:
Before we can close your publisher account, all ads must be rejected and all zones must be deleted from your account. Please follow these instructions to complete these steps:
1.Select the "For publishers" tab.
2.Click on "Review ads" link.
3.Select "New ads pending review" >> "All ad types".
4.Mark all check boxes and click the "Reject" button.
5.Next, click on "Manage ad zones" link.
6.For each zone, click the "Delete Zone" link.
7.All zones should disappear within five minutes.
8.Notify support via our Contact Us form so we can process your account closure request.
Reminder: Don't forget to remove the AdBrite code from your site. Ads may continue to be served to your ad zone, after account closure, but no earnings will accrue.
