How was Elizabeth Fritzl and her children fed in the windowless celler without the knowledge of Josef's wife, Rosemarie?

How does Josef go for shopping for the hidden family and how does he cook food for them without Rosemarie noticing?

I think the wife had to know. How is it possible for her to have her daughter in the basement for 24 years and not know it, did she never go to the basement for "24 years" I dont think its possible to live in a house for that long and not ever go in there. It just sounds unbelievable. I mean they had a TV down there she never heard any noises or children crying. She had to know.

He was obviously a very persuasive man and made her believe nothing was out of the ordinary. I mean the guy was bringing new children into the home and telling her that Elizabeth was dropping them off (who he said was in a cult). Rosemarie must be very delusional and naive, and she needs to be examined by a professional herself.

I am surprised. When the children were taken out of the cellar, they must have informed Rosemarie about where they lived, Howmuch sufferings they have under gone. They should have informed that Elisabeth was their mother and how Josef was torturing them.
