Does anyone know of a free site or program to improve your Grammar skills?
I am tired of always running into issues with my bad Grammar skills. I have wrote many stories, and will be self publishing them so my poor Grammar is okay for that. But when I try to work pages on Mahalo or submit my writings elsewhere I keep running into the poor Grammar issues, and I can't fix them because my Grammar skills really are poor.

Then this page may be what you're looking for! At least I hope it is.
http://www.webgrammar.com/
"This is the community service website of Judy Vorfeld, also known as Webgrammar.
Need a bit of help with spelling, grammar, homonyms, punctuation, capitalization, etc.? Or information in the areas of writing, education, typography, academic research, or Web development? You may wish to zip right over to The Writing Center. It includes writing help and many writing resources."
Here is a list of the subjects they cover:
Common Mistakes
Dictionaries & Glossaries
General Resources
Grammar Basics
Grammar Tips
Homonyms, Etc.
Idioms
Writing Center
Writing Resources
Under "Grammar Basics", this is the type of things they have:
"Adjectives are modifiers. They describe nouns & specify size, color, number, etc., e.g., The small "x" in the upper corner of the window is used to exit your file.
Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives & other adverbs, e.g., The exhausted secretary screamed loudly as her monitor flickered slowly, then died."
Under "Common Mistakes", this is an example of what they have:
"A and An before a word beginning with "h": "An historical book" is not idiomatic in American English. Before a pronounced h, the indefinite article should be a. A hotel; a historical. Therefore, precede a word beginning with a "breathy" h with an a.
Due to or Because of? Due to modifies nouns and is generally used after some form of the verb to be (is, are, was, were, etc.). Jan's success is due to talent and spunk (due to modifies success). Because of should modify verbs. Ted resigned because of poor health (because of modifies resigned)."
Looks like pretty good stuff to me. Oh, and for what it's worth, in your 3rd sentence, it should be "I have written many". Sorry, I kinda had to.
Good luck with your endeavor.

You can also contact your local library about books to check out that have to do with basic English skills. We can all use a brush-up on this stuff.
