Sure. It's really no different than buying your handset/phone from the company. In this case your getting a whole computer. The apple iPhone has already blurred the line so much as it's actually a better palm top computer than it is a phone.

Would you consider buying a netbook from a carrier (like the HP Mini 1151NR from Verizon)? Or is it uneconomical?
