The first step would be to put an ad on (yourcity).craigslist.org. I find that people not only charge more, put people seemingly pay more for items that are in town. The second step is to ask friends, colleagues, or family members if they know anyone that needs a computer. Perhaps you could print out a small ad and put it on a pin-board at work (if you have a job) or at school (if you are a student). Even in this scenario, you will get a decent price. Lastly, you could just toss it on eBay and be done with it. This will yield the smallest amount, but will raise your chances of selling it 10 fold due to the exposure. Regards and good luck.

some of the best places to start out with is Ebay and Craigslist. also you can look in the yellow pages to see if there are any computer repair shops that buy used systems, many do to either resell them or use them for parts. Also posting it for sale in your local papers will help as well. ~Joey V.~
