The touchscreen cell phone watch in my opinion is one of the coolest gadgets out there, and now they are a little under $150 at IC-Mall. It can make phone calls, play music, watch movies, and manage your schedule.

For me, the coolest Gadget that I own and use almost every day is a Harmony Remote Control.
There are a variety of Harmony Remote controls, including ones that cost less than $150.
Here is the updated model of the one I own: Harmony 900
http://www.logitech.com/repository/1817/png/14959.1.0.png
Here are the things that I like about this remote:
#It communicates with both RF and IR. Your components don't have to be line of site to work. All of my AV equipment is behind a wall.
#It is macro based. You can press "Watch TV" for all of your components to be turned on and set to the correct inputs and levels.
#It connects to the Internet and is setup on your computer. You don't have to fiddle with buttons and bad menus. It's point-and-click. All remote codes are downloaded automatically from the Internet - just input the model number.
All-in-all, I love these remotes.

Since I cannot open jars, the LIDS OFF is wonderful. It is compact, sits on the counter, is electric, you can turn the part that holds the jar in place to accommodate different sizes up to 4 1/2 inches in diameter, then you adjust the height up to 8 inches, push a large button, and the LIDS OFF does all the work of twisting off the cap!!!
I have used this regularly since getting it as a Christmas gift about 3 years ago!!

Voted 9 out of 10 in Wired Magazine's Nov 2009 issue.
"Wired: Gold-plated mechanical switches under the keys make a nice old- school clatter. Fire up a cigar and pour a stiff drink--you'll be pounding out emails like Hemingway in no time. Recognizes up to six keys pressed simultaneously for your sick Warcraft macros. Two USB ports."
"Tired: No more typing on the sly while on conference calls. Zero ergonomic features."

Being more of a Zune fan than that of the iPod, I was kind of hoping that the new Zune HD would be more affordable, but not yet (I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Valentine's Day).
But the release of the new Flip HD makes the first generation Flip Handheld Camcorder even more affordable than ever. The designer series Flip Mino is now under a hundred dollars.

Hey Jackie,
Maybe I can help you with the picture problem. To share it with us , first you need to upload it to a hosting website ( like http://www.flickr.com or http://imageshack.us ). After you do this , you will receive an url, where you can find your picture. Copy and paste the url into the box just like the image you see in my comment. There you are. Tou can do the same thing with urls from youtube, in the video section, if you want to share a video with us. Please be aware, that it has to be the url from the video, not the embed code.
Hope this helps!

My current favorite techie gadget under $150 are the netbooks with embedded 3G. Most of them only dip into this price range with a 2-year service contract like this one http://www.pocketables.net/2009/01/verizon-wireless-offering-200-rebate-on-sony-vaio-p.html. I love the idea of slipping a 2 pound netbook into my pruse and beign able to connect to the web from just about anywhere.
