Using a clean cloth or wipe (one that doesn't shed material) you wipe from the center of the disc out towards the edges.
Should that not do for basic cleaning, many people (me included) will use toothpaste to clean their discs. You spread a little toothpaste (regular toothpaste, not organic stuff) on the surface of the disc, let it dry, and thoroughly wash it off, and dry again carefully.
