What does it mean when your smoke alarm goes off, but there's no smoke?

This happens quite a lot to us. It usually means that the battery is running low and needs to be changes.

Remeber it is extremely important to do a fire alarm check every 2 weeks or so, just to check that the batteries are okay and the alarm is still working.

From having this happen to me a few times, it usually means that the batteries need to be changed.

I think, it is a false alarm then. May be it is too humid in the place.
When my alarm was just in front of the bathroom, after a shower, if I keep the door open it was going off. Also check the battery.
