I apologize for the time it's taken to respond to this question. I had a Scooba, and my friend owns a Roomba. He is completely satisfied with the machine. My Scooba broke not too long after it's warranty expired and, although the tech support was kind and tried to help by sending parts, I was unable to revive it. I miss the machine. It was about as noisy as a standard vacuum cleaner, was fun to watch, and I could do other things while it was working.
Ah, well, maybe I'll buy another one day...
