Your best option is to contact Dell and have them send you a new keyboard. Keyboards are easy to replace on laptops and in the long run buying a new one will save you money. For example, buy new keyboard now...if more keys break later you can use the keys from old keyboard and replace. Voila.
The keyboard is about $20 from Amazon and thus I cant imagine Dell would charge much more...but you should comparison shop. Here is the amazon.com link: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MMCJQY?ie=UTF8&tag=2s02-20&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B000MMCJQY

Missing keys on my laptop. Can I buy replacements?
I am so desperate right now it isn't even funny. It was funny last night but now I am not amused anymore.
My son's friend was learning to crack a bull-whip last night and in the process the bull-whip slung to the side just enough to hit my laptop keyboard and completely annihilate three keys on it. The tab, q and w keys are in about 100 pieces each now. It's very difficult to type anything when I have to stop and make sure I hit the itty bitty rubber key seat for those keys. I use this for writing a lot and I really need those keys back.
I have a Dell Latitude D800 laptop. Are there any easy ways to replace the keys? Websites (please not eBay! unless it's the only way you know). Are keyboard keys for laptops interchangeable? Can I buy them separately online or am I going to have to replace the entire keypad?
