Ipod touch question??

So my ipod touch runs out of battery power really, really quickly. Especially when I have the brightness of the screen up. Is there a way I can somehow replace the battery?

If it is out of warranty you can get it replaced for $80.
If it is still under warranty take it to an Apple store and have them replace it for free.

If you are the adventurous type there are also third party options, but I have no personal experience with them.

Before you go for replacing it, check if the battery is draining any faster than could be expected. If for example you are watching streaming video over wi-fi, you could use up the battery in less than two hours easily. Especially if you have the screen turned up to max brighness.

High brightness, video, and wifi will drain the ipod very quickly. The best way to test what your maximum battery life is to start playing a playlist and see how many hours it can go. If it can't play 2 hours of music there is a problem.

If you are playing some 3D game then 2 hours of battery life - or even less - is normal.
