I wanna know the difference between Dvd-R and Dvd+R. Can someone tell me? And does it matter?

The simple answer is error correction. DVD +R has a SLIGHT advantage over DVD -R, but the difference is really unnoticeable to the end user. DVD -R also has a 5 year lead over DVD +R and is more prevalent in consumer electronics.

The difference is really moot as most DVD players can read either +R or -R formatted discs.
