If you can afford a new ipod nano, then that would be your best option. You could use Nike+ to get even more out of your run. If money is too tight for that & you don't want to hassle manually syncing a cheap 3rd party mp3 player, then I recommend finding an armband that will hold your iphone comfortably on you bicep. To make it even more comfortable, get wireless headphones as well.

WHen i run w/ my ipod sometimes it locks up because of the running motion. (I think the harddrive gets messed up).
Just buy a cheap flash drive mp3 player. Now of days they cant be too much.

Look on ebay for a old school ipod nano or those tiny ipods. I think at one point the were 50 bucks so ebay probably has them for even cheaper. I dont think its worth running with your phone. WHen i run w/ my ipod sometimes it locks up because of the running motion. (I think the harddrive gets messed up).
