It certainly sounds like your phone is bugged, especially if it's locking messages you haven't locked and then won't let you unlock them. Which means there most likely isn't a fix.
I wonder if the messages are locked in your phone or if its something the carrier can do on their end to release them...there might be, it might be your best chance without having to reset the phone.
I suggest giving Verizon a call...or whoever your provider is and see what advice they have.

I locked messages on my Voyager and when I went to unlock them, they won't unlock to erase them.
The messages aren't even the ones i locked, they come up as completely different messages. Please help
