I just bot a Dell Mini w/8GB HDD. The OS and other Bloat take up 7GB. What can I get rid of, and how do I do it?

if it is windows you can reinstall the os and put on somthing different (mac os x) or use use a streamlined version of the windows installer using nLite:

I have no idea how you can run a laptop on 8gb but...
Go through your "programs & features " list in the control panel and remove anything commercial that you don't use.
Be sure to check on the internet whether or not the program you want to remove is necessary or just bloatware.
