If you can provide some hardware specifics on your computer, you'll probably get some more detailed answers. I'm going to assume your computer is a relatively late-model Windows-based desktop. If so, I'd recommend this package + an additional tuner card:

I've been using the BeyondTV software and a Hauppage tuner card for years with very few problems. Extremely reliable, excellent quality and very easy to use. The BeyondTV software provides the programming guide and data.
As for the remote, you'll have some difficulties controlling the power to the PC with just the Firefly remote, but there are some solutions out there for triggering stand-by states to power your PVR up and down.
For sound, I've been using the built-in sound of my Nvidia motherboard, which has digital out in 5.1, but if your current PC doesn't have the output capability you are looking for, it's hard to go wrong with a dedicated card from Creative, eg. the (in)famous SoundBlaster line:

I have it at home, the weird thing is that it DOESN'T work with Media Center, but only the software that came with it.

I need more time to research this for dual tuners, but for single tuner, you can use the US version of what I answered in the other question: http://www.pinnaclesys.com/PublicSite/us/Products/Consumer+Products/PCTV+Tuners/PCTV+Analog_Digital+PVR/PCTV+HD+Pro+Stick.htm I have it at home, the weird thing is that it DOESN'T work with Media Center, but only the software that came with it.
