Bought a 9v AC adapter for my Stanton mixer because it says "9v" on it. Doesn't fit. What's wrong?

Hmm. Sounds like there could be a defect in the actual battery or there may be a dent in the connection cable (that happened on my phone battery). Definitely take it back to the store. Do you have a receipt?

From what I can see is Stanton uses specific adapters for their products. According to their website in order to replace the power supply they recommend that you contact them.

However, you could also find out the specs of the power supply needed, then you could perhaps head on down to say Radio Shack and I am sure a representative will be able to help you there.

The Stanton knowledge lists all the specs for their power adapters.

You could also probably bring your parts to an electronic store like Radio Shack, they have very knowledgeable employees who will definitely be able to help you out.
