Which OS is faster at burning DVDs, Linux or Windows?

What is the fastest program to use to do it? I don't care how easy it is, I can learn, but I burn a lot of DVDs, currently use Nero, and would like a faster way. I currently have two computers, one with a 3.2 GHz CPU (Intel), 2 GB DDR2 ACP-EP RAM, two DVD burmers, Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS, and the other, 1.8 GHz CPU (Intel), 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 1 DVD burner, and both have 80 GB hard drive 7200 RPM.

Ii think that your DVD writer's burning speed is the main limitingfactor.
