People use registry cleaners because they have been fooled into the idea that a registry cleaner is in anyway a good or useful idea.

In most cases they aren't and do far more harm than good. Letting a registry cleaner have free reign over your computer is similar to letting anyone with a white coat have access to your brain and permission to perform surgery. Very rarely should you do it, and in NO circumstances should you let a stranger do it (even if they offer to do it for free)

Registry cleaners and 'tune up' utilities are one of the growing security risks on the internet.

In the dim and distant win98 days there was a benefit to be seen in running them. With modern operating systems there really isn't much point any more.

When you remove a program, it doesn't entirely uninstall itself. It leaves fairly a little of needless files from entire computer. Some scraps that slowly gather slow down your computer causing blue screens, errors and slow startup. Taking this into reflection, 88% of PC users will lost their important data because of a blue screen of fatality or some other error. Registry easy also give your computer a larger projection life. The sooner you understand this more money you will save. Try this!

However the size of those files left behind is likely to be negligible compared to the size of modern hard drives.. In any case using a registry cleaner can INCREASE the likelyhood of system problems and make a computer LESS stable. So you are paying money to lose yourself more money.
