Computer wont start after windows update.

So last night I clicked on the install windows updates and shut down computer. When I got up this morning to turn on the computer nothing happens at all. Ive opened the case to make sure everything is plugged in and Ive tried different outlets as well as another power cord. I noticed on the back of the power supply there is a solid green light. Its a bit dim but solid. i have no idea what that is for. Any suggestions on what could be wrong.

You can leave an optional "tip" with Mahalo's virtual currency, Mahalo Dollars. If you are asking a difficult question that might require some research, or if you'd like a wide variety of feedback, a higher tip often leads to more answers to your question.

Hi, @smh!

I don't know if you already have noticed that green light before but I suggest that you unplug the cords and plug them in again. You can also use a vacuum cleaner or blower in order to remove the dusts off from the computer. I am not sure if we had the same problem. I was not able to look at the back of my power supply when it didn't turn on just last two weeks ago. Good thing my friend told me to just clean the memory and since I don't have a vacuum cleaner yet, I just use a dry soft paint brush. After cleaning the insides of my computer, I connect and plug them in again and voila! It turned on again. But if you think you’re unsure what to do with it then I suggest that you call or bring it to the professional.
