Why do people on the freeway fail to pay attention in the left lane and yield to oncoming traffic from behind?
I really do not like how people drive and just ignore traffic flow forcing you to go their speed only to then force you to try and pass them on the right when in the left lane.

People generally are not paying attention while driving. They are either singing to their favorite song on the radio, or talking on their cell phones. They don't really notice it when people come up behind them. I have had experiences where I will move over if the person slowly comes up on me, but if they speed up to me and ride my tail I will probably stay in the left lane all day. I'm a courteous driver if the other person also is, but if your a creep or jerk who thinks he can push me around, then heck no I won't move over. So next time you are on the freeway, slowly come up behind someone and then back off a little, you'll be surprised at the response. Don't speed up and ride someone's tail just because you want them out of your lane.
