Cimarron won the Academy Award for Best Picture in 1931. It is based on Edna Ferber's novel about the Land Rush. Cimarron was the first (and until Dances with Wolves) only Western to win an Oscar for Best Picture. Largely forgotten today, you can find the trailer here http://www.spout.com/films/Cimarron/6170/344/trailers.aspx
