Stanford, University of California at Berkeley, University of Pennsylvania, and Ohio State University.
Ohio State University is pretty good, but it isn't the best. I just came from there. I was in the math department, which is separate from the stats department. Ohio State has consistently ranked up there in statistics, and is good at graduating students, which is actually the MOST important part of a graduate school.

• Thanks for listing multiple schools -- although I do believe that the most important part of a graduate school is the relative strength of their faculty group.

I used to agree with that. Then I went to grad school. Generally I've found that if you have two schools that are almost tied to you, it's better to go to the one that graduates the most students on time. This is especially true in statistics. Most of my advisors, as well as my fellow classmates, have agreed with that. Honestly, it's the thing that seems most irrelevant now, but in the end, when you're actually there in the middle of the muck, it becomes extremely relevant.
