What are some good tips/strategies for getting into NYU?

I'm a high school student that really, really wants to get into NYU and I'm looking for any way to improve my chances of getting in?

You need to have SAT scores 1300-1400. You need to have taken college courses, there is an essay to submit for admission, you need a teacher recommendation. The minimum courses that they require are there but they expect to have more than that. It is competitive with other students. You need to do everything that you can. For some schools you need an audition or to show your art. There is a link to the list from NYU.

I was a secretary for NYU and I wish I'd taken the courses we could.
