Does anyone have a favorite recipe for hot mocha?

I love Starbuck's hot mochas and was wondering if anyone had a recipe for a similar version?

I use course ground Columbian dark roast coffee, raw cocoa powder, sugar and milk. I brew it all in a french press. The coffee, cocoa, sugar and milk all go into the french press then add the hot water that I boil in a kettle. Stir it up and let it brew for three minutes, press it down, pour and enjoy.

I have a eight cup press and into that I will add three scoops of coffee, two scoops of cocoa one scoop of sugar and one cup of milk. It makes the best hot mocha!! This mixture is not a sweet drink, but more a strong drink. If you want you can add less coffee and more sugar and use whole milk instead of semi-skim to get a sweet, creamy drink. Enjoy!

You don't have to use a french press to mix this up, but I find it is the best for getting all the coffee ground out of the drink. The secret to great taste is letting it brew or steep for the three minutes before drinking.

Nestle makes a hot chocolate mix called Double Blend which is surpisingly delicious, and makes a great mocha :) (PS I don't work for them)

Put about 20 grams in the bottom of a mug and add half the amount of hot coffee you would usually drink, steam the milk with an espresso machine or heat it on the stove and fill the mug to the top. This makes a great mocha, really rich. In fact I'm going to go have one now.

If you don't want to get a hot chocolate mix then make it yourself, 2tsp sugar + 2 of pure cocoa do a good job too.

You can buy the Starbucks Chocolate on Ebay (sometimes). Starbucks Mocha Bar Powder. It tastes most like a *$ mocha if you premix it with water, which makes a lot. A good espresso machine and grinder helps as well. I've never been able to brew coffee that tastes anything like espresso.
