I'm a 32D and have had really good luck with Felina's Hint of Skin bras. They're comfy, seamless and are very supportive. They last quite a long time compared to other bras I've had as long as you take care of them (hand wash or bra bag and always line dry!)
You can buy them either in department stores (where they have a better selection) or online at BareNecessities or HerRoom.
If the Felina ones don't come in your size, search on HerRoom for seamless bras in your size. They have free shipping, free returns and plenty of reviews for you to make a decision from.

The most interesting thing I learned (recently) that most women don't realize is the "extra" flesh around the chest even all the way in back that never goes away can be reshaped with the right bra. Ask an expert since I know it sounds crazy and "just like a guy" to say it - but I learned it from a nurse who sells special support bras for larger women. She called it "wandering boob flesh" (she's a funny lady).
Larger breasts equals more weight and strain on your back and neck and may necessitate wider straps and a proper fitting. Please refer to this wonderful online guide on proper bra fitting.

I'm a fan of a properly fitted woman. I take it as my personal responsibility to assist my wife in her purchases and comfort. She can't wear an underwire (bad for circulation anyway and some say is linked to the development of breast problems). Her only option around here is the Playtex 18-hour comfort fit bra. It has wider straps and no underwire.

Help! I need some bra advice!
Girls -
I've recently gone from a C to a D cup and want to find a comfortable bra with smooth (not lacy) fabric that is also supportive.
Somehow when you go from C to D, you need a better built bra?
Please help!

I would suggest some Maiden Form, they have the best D bras ever, or at least for that price, I mean if you want to spend more then $25 on a bra then you could probably find a better one, at like Victoria Secrete but yeah that's a money killer and we are in a recession! but anyways, if you don't have a Maiden Form near you, they sell them at Fred Meyers too but it's a lot harder to find a 32/34 D but if you have a 36+ D then you should be fine with a nice trip to your local Freddie's. I have a pretty nice zebra one, it's one of those seamless ones, I would say if you are gonna get one of those, they are super comfy, but my wire came out when I washed it, so maybe a delicate cycle is more preferable, or hand wash it, but I don't suggest throwing it in with the rest of your cloths and hoping it survives.

I know I'm a guy so don't pick on me for answering. My mom used to sell Sculptress bras by Constan and I asked a lot of questions.
