The biggest threat is Air Pollution as it contributes to trapping more heat which is ultimately what is warming up the earth.

The only way to overcome climate change... if we still can... would be to reducing Carbon emissions. David Attenborough explored this and there are 7 steps that humans need to take to bring us down to a sustainable level.
