What is the best (and easily available) recording of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos?
I've read that baroque music is the best to study to, and that this work is one of the finest examples... so I'd like to try and invest in a recording of it. But there's so many I don't know which to choose. Any recommendations?

You can download either mp3 or FLAC (lossless compression, highest overall quality) versions of them here: http://www.rozhlas.cz/d-dur/download_eng

Your local library might have a number of different recordings of this concert. I suggest going there and listening to the different versions to see which one you prefer the most. Then you can buy the CD of the one you like and know you are getting the highest quality version.
