I've had a look at it this morning, and really don't think that it has turned into a tit for tat battle (unless there has been some behind the scenes moderating going on which has removed the battle scars).
Yes there are disagreements... but the conversation is largely on topic and is (from my point of view) genuinely educational.
One of the things about Mahalo is that flame wars are very rare here... This is due to a fantastic combination of a)smart clever and considerate users and b) a very switched on staff who are keep everything under control and do a fantastic job of spam/troll/flame/idiot suppression in the background.
If it did flare up into a battle especially one where it became personal I have every confidence that the staff would zoom in like ninjas and bash the required amounts of heads together...

Why is the question about taking "In God We Trust" Off currency allowed by Mahalo staff to divulge into a tit for tat religion battle?

• fair enough, i like the "idiot suppression" i aspire not to be included in this category, don't mean to poke the bears but still was interesting to see if anyone would take on the question
