Christians are mono-theists, meaning we worship only one God. Our God is revealed in three persons, being the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Here is an article that talks about how this truth is implicitly outlined in Scripture.

I believe the Father and the Son could possibly be separate entities, however the Holy Spirit is not a tangible "thing." It is more a phrase used to describe the feeling one has when overcome by the feeling of love for the Lord. This is the Spirit that moves us and drives us to be better people, and serve our Lord in the manner for which He created us.
