I think it'll be awesome! He's such a good actor and I can't wait to see it! I just hope it doesn't go overboard on to the verge of being stupid.

Variety says:
"Not long ago, it would have been inconceivable to see the words
"Adam Sandler" and "Disney family film" in the same sentence, but
parenthood does strange things to people. With Bedtime Stories Sandler has delivered on his promise to make a movie his kids can enjoy. What's more, he's managed to do so without alienating his core audience."

While Rolling Stone only gave it one star:
"A return to the cloying sweetness of Big Daddy
territory for Adam Sandler. He's a hotel maintenance guy who tells
stories to his niece and nephew that sort of come true. The shortage of
wit and the excess of goo can be summed up in Sandler's line to these
children of divorce: "I'm like the stink on your feet — I'll always be
there."

Does this film have any chance to be good? I don't know. Adam Sandler just seems to do his silly voice stuff all the time and Courtney Cox isn't exactly a comedic genius. She was funny in Ace Ventura, but she wasn't even on Friends yet, and Jim Carrey did most of the funny. They had that one scene where they have lots of sex in his apartment and knock stuff over. Now, that's comedy.
