When will the new iPhone come out?

When will the 3rd generation iPhone (not to be confused with the 2nd generation iPhone with 3G) come out?

I want to buy an iPhone, but I'd be willing to wait a few months if a new one is about to come out.

The first came out in late June 2007, and the second in mid-July 2008. I'd say the third gen will come out sometime between June and July.

No, especially since there is ABSOLUTELY NO mention of any confirmed features - or even any substantial rumors.

Actually, the biggest rumor mill right now is not for the next iPhone, but for a continually-denied-by-Apple "iPhone nano" which will actually increase the iPhone's biggest defect (the typing.)
