Ringtones on Samsung R500
I've got a Samsung R500 from Telus and I'm wondering how I can put ringtones on it from my computer.
When I send a .mp3 over Bluetooth I can play it under My Albums>Sound>Transferred but there isn't any option that allows it to be set as a ringtone. If I go to Settings>Sounds>Ringer Type>Voice Calls it shows options for single tones, ring tones, melodies or my content. When I go to my content says "Please Download first!"
I went to the Telus store and they told me that they block this feature (guess they want me to buy their ringtones for 4 bucks...) but Technical Support said it is possible, just is difficult. He also said to make the file under 30 seconds and a .wav file, but when I send a .wav over Bluetooth if says file format unsupported.
Any ideas?
