Is it risky to buy a refurbished iPhone?

Where from?

EDIT: Be warned: when AT&T refurbishes an iPhone, all they do is delete your stuff. Some have lower firmwares, some have scratches - some even have warranty-voiding jailbreaks.

Also, they have shorter warranties.

I'd be skeptical - especially since they may have scratches.

The AT&T website sells them. So does best buy
