What do you think of Mel Gibson's new girlfriend, Oksana Grigorieva?
Gibson recently confirmed that Grigorieva is pregnant. This will be Gibson's eighth child and the new baby will be younger than his grandchildren? Has Mel Gibson gone crazy. Do you think this new relationship will last?

I for one am so sad at the path Mel Gibson has taken. So many people looked
up to him as a role model. Super Star, wealthy, married for years, children,
gave the impression he was totally a family man with good values. My heart
goes out to his children these past couple years must have been so hard on
them all. As for Oskana, I dont think much. Money and fame draw many a
woman to an much older man. I know for a fact I would not appreciate my
daughter dating someone 30+ yrs older. In fact I find it disgusting to be honest. But I have a feeling I may be in the minority on this one.

As crazy as Mel Gibson is... I have to remember that he did produce and direct some great films.
I try to separate the "crazy" part of him from the "create" part of him.
I guess I'm lucky that I don't know him personally and therefore can just look at his resume and not at his rap sheet.

I find it disturbing as Mel Gibson was an ideal rolemodel for fans and Hollywood actors alike. The reason he got so much success in films [others was because of his image as a family man. I don't think this relationship will last. Oksana is young and Mel Gibson's pretty old. I have a bad feeling that in the next few years the baby is going to grow up without proper care. It is completely immature behaviour from someone like him. It'll affect his acting career too, as well as his public image.

As for the child I don't think he's crazy as long as one can continue to support the new addition then there isn't anything really wrong with it. Yes age is a factor but really he seems to be doing just fine!

I think she's a brilliant pianist. I don't have any reason to dislike her. Mel and his wife have both stated that their marriage was over for a long time. They were separated and Mel started going out with her.
As far as him having another child, that must be a big shock to Mel. He already has a few.
Overall I like her simply because I have heard her play and she sounds great!

What is there to say about her? She is much younger than him and he is big on fathering children so what most likely happened is that he found someone that took an interest in him ( due to celebrity) do I think it will last? For a while maybe but then it will end, maybe not soon but by the time the child starts high school they will be long ago broken up. Beyond his celebrity and her youth there is not much to sustain this relationship, if the had more in common then maybe they could make it but they really don’t so I cannot seeing this working out in the long run. People generally choose people similar to themselves and these two just don’t have much in common to make a go of it in the long run.
