I hope it is a hoax. It seems like a very bad joke--the facial hair, the outfits, the performance--it just has to be a joke. I'm hoping that the rumors are true and that Phoenix really did say "“It’s a put-on. I’m going to pretend to have a meltdown and change careers, and Casey is going to film it.”

Please let it be a hoax. I actually would believe that he is researching some new movie before I believed he was actually turning into a rapper.
