Is the Padma Lakshmi Carls Jr inappropriate? Does it take away her credibility as a judge on ''Top Chef''? Is it inappropriately racy?

I don't think the ad itself is inappropriate. The only way it could possibly hurt her credibility, I would think, is that some may argue that calls into question her taste...Carl's Jr. isn't exactly fine cuisine or comparable to Top Chef meals.

No way! She IS sexy... and she enjoys food! Any judge of food HAS to recognize those "comfort foods". It's not like she's eat CJs every meal...

Obviously she enjoys her food... and I enjoy her enjoying her food! (Says the man.)

The woman used to be a model, for goodness' sake. Of course it's going to be racy. I didn't see anything in the commerical that calls for the inappropriate label. She's not wearing or doing anything any more sexy than she does on the show.

Frankly, when I saw it, I wasn't going, "hur hur, how dare she like Carl's Jr!" I was going, "Hey, it's that pretty girl from Top Chef! They did a good job hiding her scars!"
