Doubtful. Take a look at his pictures from when he was younger. When he hit puberty he gained all kinds of weight, which is something that can happen with autistic people. There is a lot of talk about the possibility of Jett's being autistic rather than having the disease his parents claim, because according to their religion autistic kids are "degenerate". The speculation is that they didn't want to leave their religion and they loved him too much to think of him as degenerate, so they found another disease to blame.

There are two kinds of typical autistic behavior on this video, and the "million mile stare". Kids at this age don't usually need to have someone hold their hand or fasten them in their car seat.
