In my opinion, Sean Combs's "Unforgivable" cologne bottle does look very much like the Tom Patti sculpture "Compacted Gray With Clear and Ribs''. The Urban Glass Art Quarterly thought they were so similar they featured photographs of Patti's "Compacted Gray With Clear and Ribs" and the cologne bottle under the headline "'Unforgivable,' Indeed" in their fall 2008 issue.
Petti has filed against Combs and his two cologne bottle designers., James Gager and Johan Liden. It is interesting to note that according to the lawsuit "Modulated Solar Airframe" was on display at the Heller Gallery in New York in 2006 but it was stolen from the gallery and never recovered. At the time, it was on sale for $40,000.
Patti's work has been displayed at the Louvre and Metropolitan Museum of Art. (http://www.boston.com/news/local/breaking_news/2009/01/bay_state_artis.html)

There is a vague similarity, but I really don't think it's close enough to win the case.
