I have no problem believing it, but I'm not sure what the big deal is. Sarah Palin wanted to care for her grandchild and shield the family from any public shame. Levi also points out that Sarah didn't cook (*gasp*) and wanted to make easy money.
I find it offensive that the guy who left the mother of his child while he takes time to (in his words) "grow up" is now attempting to slam his child's grandmother for offering to care for it as her own. Sarah Palin was offering to provide a stable home for a child that Levi is clearly not ready for as he pursues becoming an actor or model (again, his words). Levi apparently has no shame.

So I think there is some truth, that perhaps Sarah eluded to it, but to bluntly try and cover that up seems a little too far fetched, an exaggeration perhaps, the full truth, highly unlikely. She probably thought (maybe only for a nanosecond, maybe out loud, maybe not) this at some point, but whether it was something she took action on (possible) or took action on repeatedly (less and less likely) just seems fishy to me.
So as with most stories like this, there will be two sides of the story and the "truth" will contain certain parts of both and certain parts that may never come to light.
Thanks

Do you believe Levi Johnston's claims that Sarah Palin tried to adopt his baby?
In an interview with ''Vanity Fair'', Levi Johnston claims that Sarah Palin nagged him to allow her to adopt his baby with her daughter Bristol Palin. Johnston says Sarah Palin wanted to keep the teenage pregnancy a secret, telling him that the adoption was a good idea.
Do you believe the claims or think he is just looking for some fame?

I can definitely believe it, as a politician she was in a bad position having a teen daughter who is having a baby out of wedlock. Sarah's views are very conservative, so this scandal makes her appear to be a hypocrite. I'm not judging Sarah for this but everyone else most like did judge her because of the scandal. Perhaps if the news never broke John McCain would be in our President. If Levi signed the adoption papers, we would be looking at a completely different situation right now. It will be interesting to see how this article affects her political career.

Having values and failing to meet them does not make a person a hypocrite. By that argument, every Christian is either perfect or a hypocrite. A person is a hypocrite if he claims to be something he is not. Sarah Palin never claimed to be a perfect mother.

It makes it look like she didn't "practice what she preached". In other words something else was going on at home..

I believe there is some truth to this. Parts of Levi's claims reduce his credibility. Oh, also he wants to be an actor or a model, so publicity is necessary. So I think there is some truth, that perhaps Sarah eluded to it, but to bluntly try and cover that up seems a little too far fetched, an exaggeration perhaps, the full truth, highly unlikely.
